Delighting The User

Creating a product from an idea involves a series of steps and iterations to have a minimum viable product (MVP). The MVP evolves based on user feedback and suggestions. The product needs to have unique features that lure your users to the product. A unique feature is something that users get only from using your product.

The importance of unique features is that the main focus becomes delighting the user, not worrying about competition. To delight the user the product must be easy to use, accessible, convenient, and reliable.

To market your product the need for a social strategy comes to question. The social strategy is a journey that different products and services take since what works for one service/product may not necessarily work for the other. Figuring out the social strategy for different products may involve referrals, recommendations from friends, word of mouth, etc. Finding a social strategy involves trial and error and eventually one will stick.

Personalization of a product to the target user has a huge impact on the sales margin of products and services. Personalization makes the target user relate to your product. It may involve using data to predict whether changes in the design, rating of the product, and relating other factors to see if there is a change in the products market share.
